On a brief eleven day sojourn, I flew into Zurich, rented a tiny car, and drove the scenic route through Schweizerischer Nationalpark to the Dolomites where I hiked, stopped into various Berghotels, ate alpine cuisine, and visited Lago di Braies. Afterwards, I drove to Milan for house museums, interiors, courtyards. And, I ended the trip in Venice, seeing statues and canals, eating chicchetti, patronizing Da Ivo.
